GETTING AROUND LA

We recommend flying into LAX. Our wedding hotel and venue are just off the 405. If you're mostly planning on attending the wedding and exploring nearby, no need to get a car. There are plenty of Lyfts (our reco) and Uber cars everywhere in LA.

If you're making a vacay of it, and want to explore the greater Los Angeles are (like Disneyland or Malibu), you may want to get a car.

We've reserved a block of rooms under Schneider-Richanbach Wedding at Hotel Angeleno, just off the 405 and Sunset. It's easily accessible from LAX and an easy, 10-15 minute drive to our wedding venue. There isn't anything in walking distance, but it's an easy location to grab a Lyft and explore.

Alex and I will be staying there as well, and it's the location for the after party and brunch. We encourage our local guests to stay as well!

Contact our travel agent, Lina Cockman-Lawson, to book with our special wedding rate.

(The rooms are $195 + tax, per night. Tax is 15.67%).

Book by September 25th

OTHER HOTELS

We recommend Hotel Angeleno because it's easy to get to from LAX, and you won't hit traffic on your way to the venue. That said if you're looking for a different experience or want to explore another part of town, here are a few other hotels to check out in the adjacent areas. Just make sure to get ahead of traffic on the big day, and feel free to reach out with questions!

the standard hollywood

$$ In West Hollywood, it's more of a party vibe hotel on the Sunset Strip.

THE ANDAZ WEST HOLLYWOOD

$$$ A modern, luxury getaway on the north side of the Sunset Strip. The rooftop pool overlooks the Hollywood Hills.

THE SUNSET MARQUIS

$$$ In West Hollywood off the Sunset Strip. Great outdoor spaces and rock n' roll history.

THE BEVERLY HITLON

$$$ A Los Angeles classic in Beverly Hills. Reasonably priced luxury experience and a great pool area.

Farmer's daughter hotel

$$ Funky and unique boutique hotel right by our apartment. In West Hollywood, it's walking distance to the Grove, 3rd Street shopping area and Fairfax. A good central option if you're in town to explore.

THE PALIHOUSE

$$$ A boutique hotel meets luxury residence in West Hollywood. Close to Melrose shopping area, Beverly Hills and the Sunset Strip.

THE ROSE HOTEL

$$ A unique, bungalow hotel with a laid back Venice vibe. Note the shared bathrooms.

HOTEL ERWIN

Airbnb

There are some great houses in the LA area. If you go this route, we recommend sticking to the West Side so you're closer to the wedding venue, but that said, prepare for traffic on our wedding day!

Look for spots in Santa Monica, Bel-Air/Beverly Crest, Beverly Glen, Brentwood, Westwood, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Venice, and Culver City. The Hollywood Hills and Laurel Canyon have some great spots too, but be prepared for a drive. If you plan to have a car with you, ask about parking spaces or parking in the area. It can get tricky. We always recommend the ride share route to minimize your hassle.
